9 Weeks Pregnant

Digest pregnancy isn't working as well this week. Sunday and Monday were pretty rough.

Monday I started getting blurred vision from elevated blood pressure (130/90) caused by dehydration.  My vision improved when I forced myself to drink but my nausea increased. I leaft one period early and my blood pressure was 130/70 which the OB/Midwife office thought was just fine.

Tuesday I started feeling well enough to make dinner and granola, but during the night the acid got very bad and I threw up acid in the early am and the early afternoon. The nausea was gone and if it hadn't been for the acid I'd feel great! I got a prescription for Protonix. We'll see if it helps like it did for Asher.

This is the most unbearable week so far. The acid is worse than the nausea which is also
Bad, when I don't have one I have the other and both affect what I need to eat in opposite ways and it feels impossible to find something to eat. If I don't eat, though, the nausea and vomiting becomes unbearable.

The end of the week got better, when I discovered steeping ginger in hot water. My afternoons were okay--like 12-4ish. I also feel better at home than at school.

I'm still throwing up once or twice a day

8 Weeks Pregnant

Oh the acid! Last night it became unbearable and yesterday I ended up vomiting 4x due mostly to acid. I went to bed with Zantac, tums, and digestion support and woke with burning pain that was only alleviated with more vomiting. I called Rosie this morning and she suggested switching to Malox and Pepsid AC. If that doesn't work we will go to Protonix. I kind of hope we end up with Protonix. We had issues with it with my second pregnancy, but it was reliable despite that.

Pepcid AC and Digest Pregnancy has made this a much better week than last week

Digestion Pregnancy is a lifesaver! Ever since I started using it yesterday, things have improved so much! I'm still nauseated but it's so much better now!

I don't remember when I measured last but I was 32 inches a week or so ago. Now my waist is 33 1/2. :-)

Seven weeks pregnant

I'm taking B6, Dramamine, and Zantac in addition to the Digestion Support essential oil blend from Heritage. The essential oils are helping for sure. The Zantac some too, I don't know about the other two.

Yesterday it was chicken noodle soup. Today it's goldfish and apples that brought me out of the nauseated funk. I can't wait until it is just one thing for at least a couple of days at a time. @

I didn't throw up this morning! Drammamine seems to be the key. And peanut butter sandwiches. I feel much better this morning than I did the rest of the week.

So far this one seems the easiest--still miserable but I'm not throwing up too much.  Hopefully that will remain the case

I've noticed the Dramamine is making a difference.

Fresh, spring air makes me feel so much better!

My heart has all but stopped racing.

I'm down to nursing Bear 2-3 times a day now. It works fine as long as I don't do so when I'm hungry or early in the morning.

Acid is a big problem again. Worse than the nausea.

The heart racing is definitely related to sugar.

These are some tough, tough days and they are dragging by so slowly.

I have so much extra spit.

Also, everything has turned up a notch. I have yet to find a good that will agree with me for more than 24 hours.

I threw up 2x on 3/14. I haven't thrown up every day, only about 3/4 of them. It scares me that it happened twice today.

Six Weeks Pregnant

Mild nausea came on 8/28 and was managed by food and carbonated water and digestion support after the morning had passed.

I hate mashed potatoes. But right now the very things I hate abut them make me roll back my eyes on delight and calm my stomach. So weird!

Nausea is increasing a little every day. Still haven't thrown up yet.

I hate peppermint EO! I loved peppermint with Baby Bear's pregnancy. I put lemon EO in u water bottle.

Not sleeping well at night and not super sleepy during the day.

3/3- threw up a tiny bit for the first time and also took Zantac for the first time.

3/4- couldn't sleep all night. Threw up in the early am. Feeling horrible. Really, really bad.

3/5 morning sickness has really settled in. Yesterday I was less nauseated by noon but still feeling awful. I felt awful most of the day. Ironically some martins rolls calmed my stomach yesterday. I went to the chiropractor for lower back pain and he adjusted lots of things including my round ligament. I haven't thrown up yet today. I think it's safe to say this is going a bit better than Baby Bear's

The vomiting seems to be limited to the morning so far. My highest levels of hormones will be in the next two weeks so I'm praying I can get through it.

20 Months Old

He is starting to string words together. He says "No Mommy!" And "uh...nope!" And "I (ah) sit," or "I poop."

He grabbed my face and turned it towards him to plant a nice kiss on my lips while i was lying down one day.

He pulls his head up from nursing and points at my nipple and said, "Watah. Mah watah." I corrected him and told him it was milk, which he pronounces "melp." Up until this point milk is the stuff from the fridge. Now he's going to be really confused!

Asher's learning the house rule that a meal not eaten becomes your next meal. He has tried every tactic he knows to get out of it too--grabbing a Baggie of food from his diaper bag and even pushing chairs up to the counter so he can try to climb up and reach the snacks he wants.

He's having a lot of emotional growing pains. Lots of yelling, hitting, screaming, and throwing. He's also super clingy with me.

He asked to walk repeatedly while we were doing errands. He realizes he's being restrained and he is resisting it.

 He's transitioned to one nap.

He says thank you (tih too) and okay at appropriate times and all on his own. He says come and again and Um and lots of other small things that he hears us say a lot.  He also can say "welcome."

He says "mon" for "C'mon

He asked me for water and when I gave it to him he said "thank you" without being told to do so.

He brought me the Bible and started flipping through it saying "Bible," and then he started singing "Jesus, Jesus" with his own little tune over and over.

He can climb up onto the counter and into and out of his high chair.

"Mommy! (giggles) Honey! (more giggles) Ah-corn! (popcorn)" -Asher

Asher: peshal.
Me: You are special!
Asher: I peshal. I peshal.

Asher has been exhibiting anger with lots of hitting,  throwing things, and throwing himself. I discovered I'm pregnant the end of this month and I'm trying to cut back on nursing and he's responding with this anger.  I've tried feeding him cows milk in a bottle to give him the same comfort snuggles, but that only worked for a day.  He doesn't usually nurse to drink, he nurses for comfort.  Otherwise, he drinks from a cup.

He loves watching What's in the
bible "Bible!" And Micky Mouse Clubhouse ("Mouse!")

Asher: (holds up a diaper) Biaper!
Me: Put it in the basket! Good boy!
Asher: (still holding up diaper) Boy!
Me: No, Asher, you are a boy. Asher is a boy!
Asher: Aser a boy!

Asher was spinning around the room saying, "Spin, spin! All done! All done! Spin!" Then he fell down and said, "Woah!"

He mimicks everything.

He is into everything in a very curious and accidentally destructive way

He and his sister are learning to play so well together.  First, Buddy was the baby, then Baby Bear was and he submitted to his sister's babying very well!

He likes to color while his sister is doing her schoolwork.

They love bathtime! His sister loves it more now that he joins her because he makes baths so much fun!

He also likes wearing headbands and hats on his head.

I made this Mike Wazowski costume for his sister years ago and she NEVER WEARS it so I gave it to him.  Right now while he doesn't really fight me, I'll have him wear it.

Making a Father's day present for his Daddy.

Sometimes he submits to all his brand of play.  Sometimes he likes it.  When he doesn't, he lets her know by yelling.  I'm trying to work with him on that.  One day we'll get him to use his words instead.

I found out I am pregnant at the end of the month.  It was a shock!  Baby Bear isn't going to be the baby anymore come October or November.

He is a very good boy when he gets his chiropractic adjustments.

Snuggles with Daddy on Saturday before he left for work.
Bunny is learning to change his diaper.  Not the poopy ones, just the wet ones.

He likes to come downstairs with me when I do the laundry.  We have a room full of toys and stuff we don't use anymore and he likes to wander through there playing.  His sister does too.  If she's not doing chores, she always joins us.

I just love watching them play together.  He really looks up to her.

Anna and Elsa came to visit my school and both my kids were pretty excited.

Some sensory play in one of the kindergarten classrooms.

Checking out the rats in the biology classroom.

I don't remember the reason for this pitiful face.  Poor, little sweetie pie!

Apparently, he was having a needy day.  I don't remember him being sick at all in February.
